WHY CHOOSE KIND-MINDED PSYCH?
Personalized: At Kind-Minded Psych, Dr. Vaccarello and Dr. Ament are here to learn about your child and the important goals you have for participating in an evaluation or treatment. We value the importance of taking the time to learn about your child’s strengths and areas of challenge from a thorough, developmental perspective while still taking a research-based approach. We tailor all of our services and recommendations to fit your child and family best.
Comprehensive: Our intention is to provide your family with a comprehensive and comfortable evaluation process. We recognize that this is best achieved by meeting with your family and conducting research-supported assessment activities across multiple days. An evaluation provides diagnostic clarification and a strong roadmap for your family’s next steps in securing services for growth and well-being. By collaborating with your child’s school and therapeutic team, we will continue to support your child in reaching their goals. You can rest assured that we will take the time to learn about your child’s needs and support your family’s goals.

Passionate: We are passionate about serving children and adolescents with diverse developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning needs. Dr. Vaccarello and Dr. Ament have robust expertise and specialization in both clinical and school psychology, as well as a strong focus on youth with developmental disabilities such as autism. This makes our clinical approach unique in that we recognize the impact your child’s developmental profile has on their school engagement, academic success, peer relationships, and self-esteem.
We would be honored to learn more about your child, family, and goals for participating in our services. Through a strengths-based approach and using research-supported best practices, we will provide you with answers, guidance, and collaborative care.
